Motivational Monday: Throw Kindness Around

"Throw Kindness Around Like Confetti" - Bob Goff

I recently started reading Candace Cameron Bure's book "Kind is the New Classy" and the message has really got me refocused. I have always tried to move through life being kind, but I'm not always the most considerate person.

Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to be considerate and I took it, despite the dirty looks I received. We were at a winery in line for the bathroom. I was at the front of the line and an older woman with a cane came in from the wrong end of the hallway.

In this moment, I could have sent her to the back of the long line, but I let her cut in front of me.

It wasn't a difficult or heroic thing to do, but it felt nice to put someone else's meeds ahead of mine.

One of my objectives for 2019 is to be more kind and considerate.
